What Is the Scientific Name of the Thigh Muscle?

The scientific name of the anterior thigh muscles is the quadriceps femoris. The other muscles in the thighs are called the adductors, which form the inner thigh, the hamstrings, which are at the back of the thighs, and the abductors, which are found on the outer thighs.
