The time difference between England and South Africa is either one hour or two hours, depending on the time of year. South Africa is always at least one hour ahead of England.

South Africa follows South Africa Standard Time during the entire year. SAST is two hours ahead of the UTC. England changes time zones during the year. From the last Sunday of March to the last Sunday of October, England is one hour ahead of the UTC. The rest of the year, England is on the UTC. For example, if it is 1:00 p.m. in England from March through October, it is 2:00 p.m. in South Africa. However, during the rest of the year, it will be 3:00 p.m. in South Africa.
