What Are the Four Principles of Sustainability?

The fours principles of sustainability are to limit use of Earth’s inherent resources, to minimize waste, to cultivate land wisely, and to provide quality work environments. These steps are meant to aid our society in achieving a more stable way of living.

The first step is to eliminate or at least decrease the rate at which humans extract resources from the earth. The second step is to decrease the production of plastics and other non-biodegradable products that create waste. The third step is to more consciously and efficiently use the land in regards to agriculture and animal cultivation. The last step is to create better working conditions for all workers, so that they may more successfully provide for themselves.
