Some examples of electric force are the charge of a light bulb and electric circuits in a house. Examples of friction as an electric force include static between clothing removed from a dryer and or the shock a person feels after walking along a carpet and then touching a doorknob.
Electric force can be observed through current electricity, such as the copper wiring that moves electricity throughout a building. Electrostatic force demonstrates electric force through static charges, such as in electrostatic spray painting and the cathode-ray tubes used in televisions. Electric force can also be seen when objects such as cloth and rubber are rubbed together and exchange charges.
