What Are the Differences and Similarities Between a Frog and a Human?
The major difference between frogs and humans is that frogs are cold-blooded, egg-laying amphibians. Humans are warm-blooded mammals, which do not lay eggs. Instead, humans, like other mammals give live birth.
Frogs are reptiles with smooth skin. Their young develop through the process of metamorphosis. On the other hand, humans have hairy skin and they bear live young. The embryo of a human develops inside the womb of the mother. Frogs cannot regulate their body temperature. They use the rays of the sun to heat up their body. However, humans are warm blooded creatures with blood that regulates their internal temperature of their body. Another difference is the heart. Frogs have a heart with three chambers, while humans have a heart with four chambers. The electric currents that flow through the heart of a frog are different from the electric currents that can be found in humans.
Both frogs and humans have many of the same organs. Frogs and humans have lungs, stomachs, a heart, a brain and livers. Humans also have a spleen, a small intestine, a large intestine, a pancreas, and a cloaca; in addition to a urinary bladder, a gall bladder along with a ureter. Males of both species have testes and females in both species have ovaries.
