How Many Planes Were Involved in 9/11?

Four planes were involved in the 9/11 terrorist attack. One plane hit the North Tower of the World Trade Center, another plane hit the South Tower of the World Trade Center, a third crashed into the Pentagon and a fourth crashed into a field in southwest Pennsylvania.
It was Sept. 11, 2001 when al-Qaeda terrorists hijacked two passenger planes and flew them into the World Trade Center’s twin towers.
United Airlines Flight 93 was the plane that crashed into a field. Todd Beamer and other individuals tried to regain control of the plane, but to no avail. The passengers died upon impact.
