Where Does Jimmy Carter Live Today?

As of February 2015 former President Jimmy Carter lives in Plains, Georgia, where he and his wife, Rosalynn, spend about three-fourths of their time. They also have an apartment in Atlanta, Georgia, where the Carter Center is located.
Jimmy Carter teaches Sunday School at the Maranatha Baptist Church in Plains several times annually, and many visitors come to hear him teach. President Carter was born in Plains in 1924. After graduating from college and serving in the U.S. Navy, he returned to Plains to run the family farming business. He was elected governor of Georgia in 1970 and president of the United States in 1976. He served one term until 1981.
