Pioneers used common everyday objects to create fun games. The children also had homemade toys, which they played with for fun.
One game played by the pioneers was called "Button Button." This game consists of a player holding a button between the palm of their hands. They pass it around and eventually stop. However, they act like they are still passing it so that none of the players know who really holds it. The person then asks "Button, button, who has the button?" The players then guess who has it and the person who guesses correctly gets to pass the button next.
