How Often Are Tours of the Boeing Plant in Charleston Conducted?
As of 2015, there are no tours scheduled for the Boeing plant in Charleston, South Carolina. Boeing conducts tours throughout the year at its facilities in Everett, Washington, and St. Louis, Missouri.
The Future of Flight Aviation Center & Boeing Tour is available 7 days a week at Boeing’s Everett factory. It is the only commercial jet assembly plant open for public tours in North America. During the tour, visitors will see how a Boeing airplane is built. Boeing South Carolina is also an assembly site for the company’s commercial airplanes. However, it is not open to the public as of 2015.
The James S. McDonnell Prologue Room Air and Space History Exhibit is located at Boeing’s headquarters in St. Louis. The exhibit is open for guided tours throughout the year, and it is open for self-guided tours during the summer months.
