What Routes Did Amerigo Vespucci Take?

Portuguese explorer Amerigo Vespucci went from the coast of Guyana to the Amazon River and, on his second voyage, south from Brazil. His other routes are unverified due to conflicting accounts. During his travels, he discovered portions of South America and islands in the Caribbean Sea.
Vespucci’s voyage from 1499 to 1500 took him from Lisbon, Portugal, to the coast of Guyana and ultimately to the mouth of the Amazon River. His travels also took him to the island of Trinidad and then Haiti.
His second voyage began in 1501, again from Lisbon. He reached Brazil and sailed south toward the estuary of Río de la Plata. His ships are thought to have sailed further south, down the coast of Argentina, before returning to Lisbon.
