Mexico City is home to the National Palace, which contains governmental offices. Stretching over 3 square miles, Chapultepec Park has a zoo, gardens, woods, lakes, monuments and museums. The southeast part of Mexico City is home to the National Autonomous University of Mexico, the country’s largest educational institution. Founded in 1551, it is also the oldest university in North America.
