No middle names were given to any of the first five Presidents of the United States. Continuing in chronological order, full names of the next Presidents include John Quincy Adams, Andrew Jackson, Martin Van Buren, William Henry Harrison and John Tyler.
Presidents who lead the country into the second half of the 1800s were James Knox Polk, Zachary Taylor, Millard Fillmore, Franklin Pierce and James Buchanan. Abraham Lincoln followed with a historically significant presidency, succeeded by Andrew Johnson, Ulysses S. Grant, Rutherford Birchard Hayes and James Abram Garfield.
