Where Is the Declaration of Independence Displayed?
As of 2014, the Declaration of Independence is on display in the National Archives Building in Washington, DC. It is displayed alongside the Bill of Rights and the U.S. Constitution.
Known as the Charters of Freedom, these three documents are available for viewing in Exhibition Hall, which is located in the Rotunda of the National Archives Building. While the entrance for the National Archives Building is on Pennsylvania Avenue and available for those who conduct research, the exhibit entrance is located on Constitution Avenue. Exhibition Hall is open every day except for Thanksgiving and Christmas, according to the U.S. National Archives and Records Administration.
