How Are Computers Used in Entertainment?
Today, computers are used in a variety of areas for entertainment purposes. The technology is used for streaming and watching videos, listening to downloads of music, playing video games and keeping track of one’s location during camping or hiking trips. GPS tracking devices are frequently used for nature walks, locating golf balls or finding locations for restaurants and vacation sites.
The journal, “Entertainment Computing,” demonstrates that entertainment computing is at the center of mainstream activities today. The publication regularly covers game news that reviews such topics as digital media for entertainment, robots and application interfaces.
