Albert Einstein was not buried; he was cremated, and the location of his ashes is unknown. Einstein died in 1955 at a New Jersey hospital at the age of 76. The cause was internal bleeding, stemming from a burst aneurysm.

Einstein is most famous for his creation of the Theory of Relativity and the equation E=mc2, which means that energy is equal to mass multiplied by the speed of light squared. Much of modern physics is based off of the thoughts and idea of Einstein. After Einstein died, a doctor removed his brain from his body without the family’s permission, but once the family found out about it, they agreed that the brain could be studied.
