What Was Adolf Hitler’s Middle Name?
Adolf Hitler did not have a middle name. Hitler was born on April 20, 1889, in Branau am Inn, Austria.
Adolf Hitler was the fourth of six children born to Alois Hitler and Klara Polzl. Although he was born in Austria, he and his family moved to Germany when he was 3 years old. Hitler did not always get along with his father and they frequently fought. He was close to his siblings and when his younger brother, Edmund, died in 1900, Hitler became depressed and introverted and that is when he developed an interest in art, despite the fact that his father wanted him to go into business.
When Hitler was a young teen, he developed an interest in German nationalism and went against the authority of his native Austria. Hitler’s father died in 1903 and two years later, Adolf left school. He began pursuing his passion of becoming an artist but, in truth, he was not very good at it. He was broke, living in a homeless shelter, and finally decided to join the German army and fight in World War I. He felt very strongly that Germany should not have lost the war and this loss, combined with a strong sense of German nationalism, led him on his journey to become the most infamous leader in Germany’s history.
