Tickets to Knott's Berry Farm are available at all Ralph's grocery stores located in Southern California. Ralph's offers a $23 discount off the usual adult ticket price for shoppers with a Ralph's membership card. Ralph's sells tickets for kids and seniors for $35, as of May 2015.
A general admission ticket costs $67 at the Ralph's company website. Tickets purchased at the website three days in advance cost $40 for adults, $37 for seniors and children between the ages of 3 and 11, as of 2015.
In the 1920s, the property on State Route 39 was a family-owned berry farm and roadside pie stand. In 1934, “Mrs. Knott's Chicken Dinner Restaurant” opened. In 1940, the Knott family built a replica ghost town on the property. The Knott's family began charging admission in 1968. As of 2015, the160-acre Knott's Berry Farm amusement park features restaurants, roller coasters, water rides, kiddie rides and rides with historical themes.
