Nigeria, located in West Africa, is very humid and is filled with forests, valleys and plains. Nigeria is home to the Niger and Benue rivers.
Nigeria has an area encompassing over 573,000 miles. It lies in the tropical zone and therefore sees warm, muggy temperatures all year long. Temperatures never get above 98 degrees during the warmest part of the year and rarely dip below 50 degrees during the winter months.
Several populated cities lie in Nigeria and include Port Harcourt, Warri, Clalbar and Bonny. The residents there take advantage of the area's vegetation in the two zones located within the country: the forest and savannah zones.
Nigeria is also filled with natural resources such as tin, natural gas, petroleum, lead and limestone.
