Denmark is not the same as Holland. They are two separate countries though both are found on continental Europe. Denmark is a peninsula that extends into the Baltic Sea, while Holland, also called the Netherlands, is just to the west of Denmark.
Denmark's capital is Copenhagen. As of July 2014, Denmark had a population of just over 5.6 million people. The official language is Danish. Denmark is a constitutional monarchy, and its monarch is Margrethe II.
Holland's capital is Amsterdam. As of 2014, Holland's population is about 16.9 million people, and the official language is Dutch. Like Denmark, the Netherlands is a constitutional monarchy. The king is Willem-Alexander.
