It is possible to rent YMCA rooms by contacting or visiting a participating YMCA. Some YMCA locations offer online bookings for short-term accommodation, such as the New York City YMCA, while others offer gender-restricted long-term housing, such as the Irving Park YMCA in Chicago for men only.
Many YMCA locations across the country rent rooms. The Central YMCA in Honolulu, Hawaii offers single and double rooms for men only, women only and couples. The McGaw YMCA residence for men in Evanston, Illinois offers short- and long-term stays, while the supportive housing building community at the YMCA of Newark and Vicinity in New Jersey rents accommodations to formerly homeless families.
