How Can You Get a Massachusetts Ezpass?
Drivers can get a Massachusetts E-ZPass by visiting the official website of The Massachusetts Department of Transportation-Highway Division and completing the application to receive an E-ZPass transponder by mail. Applications can also be completed in person at E-ZPass Customer Service Centers to receive a transponder immediately.
Drivers should follow the steps below to receive an E-ZPass transponder in the mail:
- Go to the Massachusetts Department of Transportation-Highway Division website
- Complete the required information
- Submit the application
Go to the website and click on “E-ZPass MA Program,” then the link for the state of Massachusetts. Read the Terms and Conditions, then click “Accept.”
Complete the online application for an individual account. The required information includes name, address, phone number, license plate number, make, model and year of the car, number of transponders needed and credit card information. Individual accounts can request a maximum of four transponders.
Click on “Submit” to submit the application. A confirmation number will be displayed; this means that the application was accepted by the system. The E-ZPass transponders should arrive in the mail within 5 to 7 business days.
Customers who complete the application online must agree that their account may be automatically replenished to $20 whenever it drops below $10. Those who would like to use another payment option should download and mail in the application.
