Zeus is depicted in writing as a regal man with dark hair and long dark beard. The symbols of his power were the eagle, scepter, and a lightning bolt. Zeus was the most powerful god in Greek mythology and his image appeared on many ancient Greek coins.
Zeus was considered to be the supreme god in the Greek Pantheon and the ruler of Olympus. Some of his titles included Zeus the Thunderer and Lord of the Sky. He was the sixth child of Cronus, ruler of the Titans, and his wife Rhea. His wife was Hera, the goddess of marriage and women. Zeus was the most powerful of Gods, but his power was not boundless as he had no control over Destiny and The Fates.
