What Is Zertalin?
Zertalin is a type of antibiotic that contains azithromycin. The brand name Zertalin is only used in Mexico, and it is not available outside Mexico. The active ingredient of this drug is azithromycin dihydrate.
Azithromycin is a component of other drugs as well such as Zithromax Z-pak, azithromycin dose pack and Zmax. The drug is used to treat a variety of conditions: bacterial endocarditis and other bacterial infections, bartonellosis, bronchitis, cervicitis, chancroid, chlamydia, COPD, cystic fibrosis, gonococcal infections, granuloma inguinale, legionella pneumonia, Lyme disease, erythema chronicum migrans, mycobacterium, Mycoplasma pneumoniae, otitis media, pelvic inflammatory disease, pharyngitis, sinusitis, skin infections, STD prophylaxis, tonsillitis, toxoplasmosis, typhoid fever and upper respiratory tract infections.
