Website loading speed, including that of Yahoo, is largely dependent upon multiple settings and the equipment used by the Web surfer. These factors include the operating speed of a person’s computer, Internet service provider speed and various browser settings.
The speed at which website pages load is mostly a reflection of what the user is utilizing to access the page. For example, working on an older computer or utilizing a dial-up modem will cause Yahoo to load slowly. Other factors include the modem that is being used, Wi-Fi connection strength or any spyware or malware on the computer. Settings within the Web browser or a full cache can also be the culprit of slow loading times.
