The error codes that appear on the Whirlpool Duet washer include “F/H,” “F/02,” “F/05,” “F/06,” “F/07,” “F/09,” “F/10,” “F/11,” “F/13,” “F/14,” “F/15,” “Sud,” “F/dL” and “F/dU.” Each error code indicates to the user a different potential problem with the washer or load being washed.

One of the more common error codes is the “F/H” code, which appears when no water is being detected entering the machine. If the washer takes more than eight minutes to drain, the water valves turn off and the “F/02” light flashes. When too much detergent is used, the “Sud” error code may appear to indicate excessive suds in the washer. “F05” signals a water temperature sensor error.

The FdU and FdL error codes both warn of problems with the door locking mechanism that may warrant a replacement of the part. The first signals that the door cannot be unlocked, whereas, conversely, the second indicates that the door cannot be locked.
