Whirlpool manufactures their own, as well as many other, brand-name appliances. Whirlpool has 69,000 employees and more than 70 manufacturing and technology research facilities worldwide.
Whirlpool not only manufactures their own products, but also products for brands such as Acros, Admiral, Amana, Bauknecht, Brastemp and Consul, among others. The company even manufactures some appliances for Kenmore (Sears' brand) and IKEA.
Whirlpool boasts that it's invested in America, with 8 manufacturing plants located in Iowa, Oklahoma, Tennessee and Ohio. Whirlpool stands behind this by stating that 80 percent of products sold in the United States are manufactured in the United States.
