Violinist Sarah Chang is not married, as of 2015. She has been an accomplished violinist since a very young age. Sarah Chang auditioned for the Juilliard School at age 5 and played with the New York Philharmonic at age 8.
Sarah Chang was born in Philadelphia in 1980 to Korean parents. Raised in New Jersey, Chang began playing the violin at age 4. She has toured the world with her 1717 del Ges� violin. Chang has recorded both orchestral and chamber music, and completed her first recording when she was 9 years old. Chang is fluent in English, German and Korean. In 2011, Sarah Chang was appointed by President Obama to the Presidential Commission on Russian Relations. Chang continues to promote the benefits of musical education of children.
