Viera Link is a feature specific to Panasonic home entertainment devices that enables users to simultaneously control the menus of other devices with the television’s remote control. For Viera Link to work, the secondary device must be connected to the TV via HDMI.
The number of home AV devices that can used with Viera Link is limited to the number of HDMI ports present on the television. Each generation of devices compatible with Viera Link comes with added functionality. Full compatibility can only be established if all the AV devices including the television were manufactured in the same year. Viera Link is commonly confused with Viera Cast, Panasonic’s smart TV platform.
