Roman Catholics use many different versions of the Catholic Bible. Which version of the Catholic Bible a person chooses to use is a personal decision. Some versions available include the New International, the King James, the Good News and the English Standard.
The Catholic Bible and the Protestant Bible are different. The Catholic Bible has seven more books than the Protestant Bible. In addition to the extra books, there are some other differences between the Catholic and Protestant Bibles since they use different standards for what should be included in the Bible.
Interestingly, the New Testament of the Protestant and Catholic Bibles are the same. Each version of each type of Bible will vary from other versions because of differences in translation.
