Are U.S. Army Unit Identification Codes Available Online?

All unclassified Army Unit Identification Codes are available online at DMDC.OSD.mil, the website of the Defence Manpower Data Center. However, in order to access these codes, users need to seek permission, provide identification and disclose the purpose of their query.
The Unit Identification Code Search System, a web-based application that provides address information on all unclassified military UICS, was developed to support information managers who require a centralized UIC database. To get access to the UICSS website, users must make a request to the DODHRA DODC-MB DMDC List DAP-SSM. Justification for the access is given in this application. The site does not specify any justifications that the organization deems acceptable.
