Troy-Bilt mowers are manufactured in Tupelo, Mississippi; Martin, Tennessee; and Willard, Ohio, as of 2015. Each plant makes specific products. The Tupelo facility manufactures walk-behind mowers while the Martin plant makes zero-turn mowers. The Willard plant manufactures the “Neighborhood Rider” mower.
Troy-Bilt’s lawn mowers are either walk-behind or riding. The walk-behind type is recommended for acre-size yards or smaller, while a riding mower is best suited for lawns up to several acres. The company also makes a variety of other tools for residential lawn care, including string trimmers, trimmer attachments and lawn edgers. Additionally, the company makes several products for the gardener such as tillers, cultivators and hand tools.
