How Do You Get Tickets to Ellen DeGeneres’ Talk Show?

Hollywood Branded/CC-BY-SA 2.0

“The Ellen DeGeneres Show” offers tickets online through the show’s website, EllenTV.com. A limited number of standby tickets are also available on the day of taping.

As of April 2015, fans can request tickets only for days on the online calendar that say “Tickets Available.” Fans interested in attending the show must click on an available date and fill out a ticket request form. Blank days are currently not available for request. You can only request one date at a time, so it’s important that everyone in your party can make it to the show on the date you select.

Submitting the form does not guarantee tickets to the show. A representative from the show’s audience department calls to confirm the booking. If the representative doesn’t call within a period of two weeks, fans may resubmit a ticket request form for another available date.

In addition to the online system, a limited number of standby tickets are available on the day of taping. If you are in the Los Angeles area or have submitted a request form and not heard back, call 818-954-5929 no later than 12 p.m. PST on the day of a taping. The show does not consider requests for tickets made after noon. Standby ticket distribution begins at the time printed on the reservation letter. Gates for the standby line do not open until 9 a.m. PST, but you can arrive earlier to hold a place in line.
