Where Are Subaru Cars Manufactured?

Subaru manufactures its cars in two factories, one located in Japan and the other in the United States. Only the Impreza, Legacy sedan, Tribeca, and Outback are produced in the United States.

The U.S. factory is located in Lafayette, Indiana. Due to Subaru’s record breaking success, the company is planning on expanding its current operations in the states. The company will be investing $400 million dollars to hire 900 new line workers and bring production up to 300,000 models per year.

Gunma, Japan

Gunma houses Subaru’s main factory. Here, the Impreza, STI, WRX, BRZ, XV Crosstrek, and Forester are all built. Subaru also uses this same factory to produce the Toyota Camry.
