Do States Offer Written Driver’s License Tests in Spanish?
Some states offer the written driver’s license test in Spanish for a regular, non-commercial license, including Oregon, California and Nevada. These three states also have free practice tests available online in Spanish at their respective Department of Motor Vehicles websites.
Oregon offers written and audio versions of its driver’s license manual in English and Spanish. The manual discusses road signs, traffic laws and similar information.
California recommends that drivers take all five of the practice tests, in English or Spanish, before taking the driver’s license exam. The tests are on information from the California Driver’s License Handbook.
Nevada drivers may take the knowledge and vision test at any time without an appointment. After passing the tests, drivers can schedule their driving tests online through the Department of Motor Vehicles website. Knowledge, vision and driving tests are available in English and Spanish.
