What Is Social Ramification?
Last Updated Apr 4, 2020 11:59:38 PM ET

Social ramification refers to the consequences of actions in a social setting, toward a particular culture or a change in a person's social status. For example, if a person is rude at a cocktail party, he may not be accepted in a social circle because of his behavior.
Social ramifications can also affect a community as a result of actions or decisions made. A particular culture or race may experience social ramifications as a result of stereotyping, profiling or racism. In addition, events or actions portraying a particular group of people could lead to social exclusions, outcasting or discrimination toward others.
