How Often Should I Change Synthetic Blend Oil?
Last Updated Mar 30, 2020 6:27:52 AM ET

Synthetic bland oil should be changed every 7,500 miles in most cars. Some makes and models, however, require owners to change the oil more or less often.
Some cars can go as far as 15,000 miles with synthetic oil before needing an oil change. Therefore, car owners must read the specs in the owner's manual to determine how many miles they can drive before changing the oil is necessary. Many car maintenance shops recommend changing a car's oil every 3,000 miles, but this recommendation is not based on facts, and many car owners are changing their engine oil much more often than the owner manuals recommend.
