How Do You Set up Voice Mail on an LG Phone?
To set up voice mail on an LG phone, dial the voice mail service by pressing and holding the ‘1’ key on the device, enter a password and select a greeting. It is also possible to set up voice mail by dialling the voice mail service from a land line.
When dialling the voice mail service directly from the device, some LG models have the voice mail number pre-programmed into the phone. If the voice mail number isn’t pre-programmed into the phone, press and hold the ‘1’ key to access the voice mail function. For first time set up, users are prompted to create a voice mail password between four and 15 digits.
Once the password has been entered, there are three greetings to choose from. Press the ‘1’ key for a standard greeting with the phone number, press the ‘2’ key for a standard greeting with just a name or press the ‘3’ key for a personalized greeting. To set up voice mail on an LG phone using a land line, dial the number of the phone and press the star key when the greeting plays. This will access the password stage of the voice mail set up, where instructions can be followed as above.
