How Do You Set the Date for a Timex Expedition Indiglo Watch?

The procedure for setting the time and date on Timex Expedition Indiglo watches depends on the exact model. As of 2014, Timex provides instruction guides for 23 models of Expedition watches on its website. If the model cannot be located on the list, customers can contact the company for instructions.

Several Timex Expedition models, including Digital Compass and Vibe Shock, use a series of four buttons located on the sides of the watchcase to adjust the settings. Pressing the Set-Done button activates the process. The Start-Plus and Stop-Split buttons move the numbers forward or backward within each setting (time zone, hour, minutes, seconds, month, day or year). Pressing the Mode-Next button advances the watch to the next setting. Once all settings are adjusted properly, hitting the Set-Done button saves the settings.
