How Do You Set the Clock on a Fitbit?

Fitbit devices are linked to the user’s mobile device or PC, and when synced, the clock on the Fitbit mirrors the clock on the mobile device or computer. To sync the Fitbit with a device, the user must first install Fitbit Connect. For installation, the user needs to have the dongle and tracker close to him, then click on “Download” from Fitbit’s setup site. Once set up, the Fitbit syncs with the user’s device automatically.

Fitbit Connect links a user’s Fitbit dashboard to his Fitbit device. This online application allows the user to sync data and view stats, and it requires Mac OS 10.5 or later or Windows 7, 8 or Vista, as well as a working Internet connection. The application also requires a USB port for the pairing USB that comes with the Fitbit.

Though the Fitbit updates automatically at regular intervals, users can manually sync their devices whenever they want by clicking on the Fitbit icon on their computer or device and clicking “Sync Now.” Connect the computer or device to the Internet and have the Fitbit USB inserted for the sync to work.

The Fitbit company was founded in 2007 and is based in San Francisco, California.
