Schederma is a brand name for a topical cream, which contains diflucortolone and isoconazole as its active, according to Medimpex Pharmaceuticals ingredients. Schederma is used to treat various skin irritations and fungal infections.
Numerous other brands combine these two active ingredients as well. The ingredient isoconazole is an antifungal agent, according to Drugs.com, and diflucortolone is a steroid derivative and anti-inflamatory agent. Schederma is intended for external use, and Geddes Grant reports that it is typically applied twice daily to treat dry skin and sunburn. Other applications include fungal infections, rashes and sexually transmitted infections. Schederma is packaged in 15 gram containers.
