What Do Reviews Say About Komfort Travel Trailer RVs?

Online reviews of Komfort Travel Trailer RVs are mixed as of 2016, but there are apparently more positive reviews than negative ones. Some reviewers have noted problems with the plumbing and electrical systems and generally poor construction, yet others have issued glowing reports on the same vehicles.

Among the reported problems with Komfort RVs are some on a 2014 Alpine model with a shower faucet that did not work properly and caused leaks in the RV kitchen, problems with water tanks leaking and tank handles breaking. Another person, with a 2009 Keystone Cougar, also reported trouble with tank handles, in addition to cracked linoleum flooring in areas near heating vents. One reviewer has suggested that Komfort’s purchase by a larger firm, Thor, has led to a decline in quality.

On the positive side, other reviewers have been pleased with the modern and practical layouts of the RVs; easy to arrange dealer warranty servicing, when needed; and the use of R40 insulation in the roof, floor and behind the cap and R9 insulation in the walls. Reviewers also praised Komfort’s use of a Trail Air suspension, instead of a less expensive standard suspension. Another reviewer appreciated the upgraded tires, shocks and frame that were standard equipment on a 2002 Komfort 21T.
