The recipe for Outback Steakhouse sangria, also known as New South Wales sangria, has not been made available to the public. The restaurant's Bar and Beverage menu describes the beverage as a refreshing mixture of brandy and red wine blended with mango, orange and pineapple juices.
Consequently, fans of the beverage have suggested their own recipe, purportedly based on details from Outback Steakhouse staff. The measurements for mixing are as follows:
- 4 oz Little Boomey Australian Cabernet wine
- 1/2 oz red sangria mix
- 1/4 oz Korbel brandy
- 1 oz mango syrup
- 1 oz orange juice
- 3/4 oz pineapple juice
Outback Steakhouse lists two other sangrias on their menu:
- Strawberry-peach sangria, which is a mixture of Malibu coconut rum, rosé wine, pineapple juice and pureed strawberries and peaches garnished with strawberry slices
- Blackberry sangria, a combination of pineapple juice, Moscato, Absolut Raspberri vodka and Monin blackberry
