The traditional railway stops on the Monopoly Board are Reading, Pennsylvania, B. & O. and Short Line. However, Parker Brothers has over 100 different versions of the game that include pop culture icons like The Wizard of Oz and The Simpsons.
Three of the four railroads were lines that commuters took to get to Atlantic City, which is where the game is located. Only the B. & O. did not serve Atlantic City. The four railroads are fairly lucrative properties. They have the highest visitation frequency (64 percent) and rank 7th out of 10 in payoff percentage.
In the original U.K. version of Monopoly, the four train stations are Fenchurch Street, Liverpool Street, Marylebone and King's Cross.
