The Ukrainian Angels Studio was established with the purpose of creating illegal photographic collections of underage girls and publishing them through various websites. In July 2004, the Ukrainian police raided and shut down the studio for child pornography.
During its existence, Ukrainian Angels Studio, also known as LS Studio, recruited girls between the ages of 8 and 16 by posing as a legitimate modeling agency in newspaper and television advertisements. Dressed in custom-made clothes, children were then made to pose for photographs in the nude or in suggestive poses. Around 1,500 minor children were exploited during the studio’s four-year history.
