Mona Brown plays the role of Nadine on “Larry’s Country Diner.” She created the character as part of a church performance prior to her role on the show.
Mona Brown says her inspiration for Nadine came from being raised in the church. Her father was a preacher, and she based Nadine’s personality on the lively women around her. Larry Black asked her to become a regular character on his show after seeing her perform. They’ve been going to the same church for 17 years.
“Larry’s Country Diner” is a variety show on RFDTV and has been on air since August 2009.
