Personal cleanliness involves practices that aim at improving the grooming and hygiene of a person. It helps in maintaining a person’s physical presentation and general health.

Personal cleanliness entails everything from using the toilet to eating. A person must wash his or her hands thoroughly after using the toilet and bathroom. Washing hands adequately is also necessary before cooking and eating and also after smoking and drinking. It is advisable for a person to stay away from the kitchen if they have cold or flu. A person should also not wear rings while cooking. Taking a shower regularly helps in keeping a person clean.
