Resetting your LG Smart TV to the factory settings can resolve many issues you may be experiencing. In order to reset the settings, first press the Home button on your remote control, then select the cog icon that appears in the top right corner of the screen to open the Settings menu. From this menu select General, then select Reset to Initial Settings, then follow the instructions that appear on the screen.

You can also choose to reset specific settings, instead of resetting the entire TV to the factory settings. To do this, select Home on your remote to take you to the Home menu. Use the navigation buttons to scroll up to the Set Up menu item, and press Enter on your remote. Using the navigation buttons again, find the Options menu item and press Enter to select it. Scroll down to the Smart TV Setting option and press Enter again. You should then see a tab titled Reset. Select this tab and choose the setting you would like to reset. When you are ready to reset a particular setting, select Confirm. When you are finished with this menu, return to the home screen by selecting Exit.
