What Percentage of the Population Has Master's Degrees?

According to the U.S. Census Bureau, as of 2012, 8.05 percent of the population in the United States ages 25 and older has a master's degree. Another 3.07 percent has gone one step further and has a doctoral or professional degree.
According to the U.S. Census Bureau, as of 2012, 87.65 percent of the population in the United States had at least a high school degree. However, a mere 30.94 percent of the U.S. population, had a bachelor's degree, although 57.28 percent of the population had at least some college work beyond high school, and 40.58 percent had at least an associate degree.
