Kelly Blue Book for motorcycles is available at www.kbb.com/motorcycles; this lists trade-in values and suggested retail values. A trade-in value is the amount a dealer is likely to pay the bike owner, while the retail value is the dealer’s asking price for a motorcycle in excellent condition with average mileage.
Kelly Blue Book provides a base value dependent on the motorcycle’s make, model and year. This value is applied with the assumption that the motorcycle is original stock with average mileage. Values for possible options are provided, adding to the motorcycle’s base value. Along with conventional two-wheeled motorcycles, Kelly Blue Book provides values for trikes, dirt bikes, mopeds, four-wheelers and utility vehicles.
