How Do You Obtain EPA 608 Certification Online?
Technicians can obtain EPA 608 certification online by registering with a site such as Green Education Services, scheduling the exam and then taking the test. EPA 608 certification is required for those wishing to work with stationary refrigeration and air conditioning systems, as stated by Section 608 of the Federal Clean Air Act.
To obtain certification online through Green Education Systems, complete the following steps.
- Go to website
- Register for exam
- Schedule exam with proctor
- Take exam
- View results
Go to the Green education Services website and click on “EPA 608 Technician Exam Online Anytime” under the “Construction” heading.
Click on “Register Now” to register and pay for one Online Anytime package. As of June 2015, the cost is $150.
The online EPA 608 exam is a proctored exam. Customers will receive information on how to schedule an exam time with a proctor within 24-48 hours of payment. Exams must be schedules at least 72 hours of advance.
Take the exam through the Webinar provided by Green Education Services. Make sure that the computer being used has the required software before taking the exam.
The results will be available online as soon as the test has been completed. The official certification will be mailed to the address provided the next business day.
